When the work is consequential...
AI is changing what organizations can build, automate, decide, and scale - and intensifying every question about power, trust, responsibility, and human dignity.
If you're building, leading, funding, or implementing these systems, that pressure becomes personal. You may be moving fast while carrying decisions whose consequences are still unfolding - holding your team's uncertainty, investor expectations, public scrutiny, or the invisible labor of keeping a system functioning while the ground keeps shifting.
That doesn't mean you're weak, failing, or not resilient enough. It means your body, relationships, and values are registering the real cost of a system that asks too much for too long. You can be ambitious, ethical, and deeply committed to meaningful work - without making self-abandonment the price of belonging.

This work may be for you if:
-
You are building, leading, funding, or implementing AI and carrying more responsibility than feels sustainable.
-
You are capable and outwardly successful, yet increasingly exhausted, conflicted, disconnected, or alone.
-
You care about the human impact of your work but feel caught between your values, organizational incentives, and the demand to move fast.
-
You've become skilled at functioning under pressure while losing contact with your own limits, or inner authority.
-
You are carrying responsibility that is not fully yours, but struggle to put it down.
-
You want change that includes your body, and relationships, not just better habits or more productivity.

What becomes possible
This is not about becoming less driven, less sensitive, or less committed to meaningful work.
It's about leading without continually overriding yourself - and without passing unprocessed pressure down to the people and systems around you.
Through this work, you'll build capacity to:
Make clearer decisions under uncertainty, without collapsing into urgency or control.
Hold boundaries without withdrawing care or conviction.
Work with moral strain and systemic misalignment without normalizing harm.
Repair trust and use power with more steadiness and humanity.
Build a version of success that doesn't require chronic override.
When work becomes moral injury
When a role repeatedly asks you to act against what you know is right, the impact becomes more than stress. It becomes moral injury - the exhaustion rest doesn't resolve, the anger, numbness, or grief of no longer recognizing yourself in the work you once cared about.
Naming it doesn't mean deciding anything today. It means understanding what's happening with enough clarity to choose from integrity instead of survival.
Ways we can work together
Hi, I'm Maria Marc
Trauma integration practitioner and Master Certified Coach for the people building, leading, and adapting to the age of AI
Most leadership coaching starts with strategy and stops there. Most trauma work stays gentle, but stays outside the rooms where power actually moves. I stand in the gap between them - where AI leaders, people leaders, product and technical leaders, or responsible-innovation practitioners want to lead ambitious work without handing over their nervous system as the cost of admission.
I work at the intersection of nervous system, leadership, and institutional strain - with people navigating speed, power, ethical complexity, and the human consequences of technological change.

A Different Way Forward
You do not need more reasons to override what your body already knows.
You need a space where what's been carried alone can be met with enough safety and precision to become workable - a place to meet the present without abandoning yourself, and move toward a future shaped by integrity rather than performance at all costs.
